Advances in technology have radically changed the way we
do business. I work with clients all across the country, some of whom
I have never actually met in person. Clear communication via phone, e-mail
and my web site makes it possible for me to work efficiently with you
no matter where you are or what hours you keep.
Prior to beginning a job I present you with our strategy,
timeline and cost estimate. There are three phases to each project:
Step 1: Information Gathering & Analysis
I feel that the best commercial design is that which serves its marketing
goals. When designing a new product or web presence for your company
I start by gathering information about your business and your goals.
I learn as much as I can about your personal tastes and preferences
as well as your competitors. This information-gathering phase helps
me to understand you and your company better so that I can formulate
a design strategy that will best meet your marketing expectations.
Step 2: Design
I normally present you with three or more initial design concepts and
will go through approximately three design iterations. You can view
your work in progress on my web site as I continually upload changes.
Step 3: Production & Delivery
Once you are happy with the general design I will prepare your job for
its final medium (either print or the web). I deliver all printwork
to you or your printer in film-ready format. Web sites will be delivered
to you or uploaded directly to your site with all graphics optimized
and tested on all target browsers.
